These Terms govern your use of the Services provided by Check Twice PTY Trading as Amulet AI (ABN 31 690 835 173) ("Amulet AI", "Amulet", "we", "us", "our").

By installing or using Amulet AI's Chrome extension, web app, and related services (the "Services"), you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you use the Services for a company, you represent you are authorized to bind that company.
1) Eligibility & age
You must be 13+ to use the Services, and 16+ in the EU/EEA unless your country sets a lower digital consent age (not below 13) with parental consent.
2) The Services
Amulet AI helps you compose, optimize, and route prompts across integrated AI providers (including OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, and Perplexity). Features may change or be updated over time.
3) Your account & security
Keep your credentials and any API keys secure. You are responsible for activity on your account. Notify us promptly of unauthorized use.
4) Acceptable use
You will not use the Services to: violate laws; infringe IP or privacy rights; generate or disseminate illegal content; interfere with or overload our systems; or bypass usage limits. You must comply with the terms and policies of any third-party AI provider you access through the Services.
5) Subscriptions, billing, refunds & cancellation
- Plans: Freemium with paid tiers. Features/limits are shown at purchase.
- Billing: Monthly or annual auto-renew unless canceled. Taxes (e.g., GST/VAT) may apply.
- Trials/credits: If offered, they are one-time and may be revoked for abuse.
- Price changes: We may change prices with reasonable prior notice; changes apply to the next term.
- Cancellation: Cancel anytime; access continues until the end of the current paid term.
- Refunds: No refunds for partial periods, except where required by law (including Australian Consumer Law and applicable EU consumer protections). If we materially breach these Terms and fail to cure within a reasonable time after notice, we may issue a pro-rated refund at our discretion.
6) Intellectual property
- Your content (prompts, inputs, feedback): You retain ownership. You grant Amulet AI a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, process, transmit, and display your content solely to provide and improve the Services (including safety, security, quality and routing), and to comply with law. We do not sell your content.
- AI outputs: Subject to third-party provider terms and applicable law, you obtain rights to use the outputs generated for you. Outputs may be non-exclusive and similar to outputs provided to others. You are responsible for any third-party rights required for your use of outputs.
- Amulet IP: The Services, software, documentation, our models (if any), and branding are protected by IP laws. Except as expressly allowed, you may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of our IP.
7) Third-party services & APIs
The Services interface with third-party AI providers. Amulet AI is not responsible for third-party services and makes no representation or warranty about their availability, accuracy, or policies. Your use must comply with those third parties' terms.
8) Privacy & data
Our collection and use of personal information are described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms. We operate a Freemium model with no ads and no sale of personal information. We adhere to Chrome Web Store User Data Limited Use requirements.
9) Data Processing Addendum (DPA)
If you are a business customer and Amulet AI processes personal data on your behalf, the DPA (Appendix A) applies and forms part of this Agreement. It describes roles (controller/processor), sub-processors, security, breach notification, and international transfers (including EU Standard Contractual Clauses).
10) Service availability
We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. Planned maintenance and incidents may occur. We may suspend the Service for security or legal reasons.
11) No professional advice
Outputs may be probabilistic, incomplete, or inappropriate and are not professional advice (legal, medical, financial, etc.). You must perform independent verification and human review before relying on outputs.
12) Warranties disclaimer
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Services and outputs are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied (including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement), except any non-excludable rights you have under applicable consumer laws.
13) Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- Amulet AI will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of profits, revenues, goodwill, data, or business interruption.
- Our aggregate liability for all claims in any 12-month period is limited to the greater of (a) the amounts you paid to Amulet AI for the Services in that period or (b) AUD $100.
These limits do not apply to liability that cannot be excluded by law.
14) Indemnity
You will indemnify and hold harmless Amulet AI and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from claims, damages, liabilities, costs and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your content or your use of the Services in breach of these Terms or law.
15) Termination
You may stop using the Services at any time. We may suspend or terminate for breach, unlawful use, or risk of harm. Upon termination, your license ends and we will delete personal data per the Privacy Policy and DPA.
16) Export & sanctions
You represent that you are not subject to embargoes or sanctions and will not use the Services in prohibited jurisdictions or for prohibited end uses.
17) Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Courts in New South Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except where consumer laws provide otherwise.
18) Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms; material changes will be notified reasonably in advance. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

Appendix A — Data Processing Addendum (DPA)
Applies when Amulet AI processes Personal Data on behalf of a business customer (the "Customer").
A1. Roles & scope
Customer is controller; Amulet AI is processor/service provider. Purpose: provide prompt optimization and routing across selected AI providers and deliver related support, analytics (as configured), and security.
A2. Processing details
- Data subjects: Customer end users; Customer personnel.
- Categories: prompts, instructions, context attachments; usage events; identifiers (e.g., email, user ID); limited device/browser metadata; support content.
- Special categories: Not intended; Customer must not submit special categories or other sensitive data unless permitted by law and explicitly instructed.
- Duration: Term of the Agreement plus up to 30 days for secure backup deletion.
A3. Processor obligations
- Process only on documented instructions from Customer; inform Customer if an instruction appears unlawful.
- Ensure personnel confidentiality; apply appropriate technical and organizational measures (encryption, access controls, logging, vulnerability management).
- Assist Customer, where proportionate, with data subject requests and data protection impact assessments.
- Breach notification: without undue delay and in any event to enable Customer to meet statutory deadlines (e.g., GDPR Article 33's 72-hour window).
- Sub-processors: Authorized for the Services include infrastructure and AI providers (currently OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Perplexity). Amulet AI will impose data protection terms no less protective than this DPA and remains responsible for sub-processor performance. The current list is at https://amulet.ai/legal/subprocessors.
- International transfers: Where applicable, the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) (controller-to-processor / processor-to-processor modules, as applicable) are incorporated by reference, with Customer as data exporter and Amulet AI (and authorized sub-processors) as data importers. Complementary safeguards (e.g., encryption in transit/at rest) apply.
- Deletion/return: On termination or on instruction, delete or return personal data, unless retention is required by law; standard deletion within 30 days.
A4. Customer responsibilities
Provide lawful instructions and a valid legal basis; configure retention and access; avoid sending prohibited/sensitive data; give required notices to data subjects; and maintain appropriate security on Customer systems.
A5. Audits
Upon written request, Amulet AI will provide audit reports/certifications or allow reasonable audits under confidentiality, subject to proportionality and frequency limits.
A6. CCPA/CPRA service provider
Amulet AI will not sell or share personal information; will not retain, use, or disclose personal information for any purpose other than providing the Services; and will comply with applicable CPRA regulations.
A7. Order of precedence
If there is a conflict, the SCCs control, then this DPA, then the main Terms.
Appendix B — Chrome Web Store & Platform-Specific Disclosures
- We only request the minimum permissions needed for core functionality and disclose all data usage in this Policy and in-product.
- We do not sell personal data and do not use it for targeted advertising.
- Data is used strictly to provide the features you request, consistent with Chrome Web Store User Data Limited Use requirements.
- If the extension uses Google services or restricted scopes, we provide any required Limited Use disclosures and keep them one click from the listing page.
